Buzzed

Parody of "Jump" by Van Halen

Parody Lyrics by Jeff James (the Paro-dud)
E-li-sha! Had a head that's real round.
There was no tuft, by skin he was just crowned.
And you know, it's round like a pea.
You might be rollin' in the aisles then.
That head's smooth, you feel.

Oh, on to Bethel, walking there,
And he's sidetracked by dense boys, hecklers so mean.
He's not got fur! Mr. Clean!
They laughed, "Your head's just a bean!"

CHORUS:
Elisha's head's buzzed. Buzzed!
Oh, his head was buzzed.
Elisha's head's buzzed. Buzzed!
His head had no fuzz.

Ahh-ooh, hey you! Who said that? Maybe now you're mean.
You say I should go, that I'm shorn, and still you mock me.

Chorus

They said, "Go up!" Up!
Go ahead, go up!
His head was buzzed. Buzzed!
No, it had no fuzz. Fuzz!

They said he's buzzed,
So appeared old cubs.
Then they were stunned.
Forty-two were cut

Note: Jeff James has written several Parodeities over the years. He has been gracious enough to rewrite many of the parodies appearing in the Parodeity section on Webster. He's done a great job improving some of these tunes in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. I'm absolutely thrilled that he has taken it upon himself to make these improvements; I had hoped when I put all my work in the public domain that it would encourage some people to make these types of modifications to the Parodeities to improve them. It is exciting to see someone doing this kind of work; I hope that Jeff's excellent work will encourage others to write new parodies or "ReVerse" existing parodeities. -- Randy Hyde

BTW, if you don't understand the "Paro-Dud" moniker, visit ApologetiX' site and check out the name of Karl Messner's production company; then you'll probably get the play on words.
