Don't Tell Him You Love Him

Parody of "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" by Night Ranger

Parody Lyrics by Jeff James (the Parodud)
(Mark 7:6-8, Matthew 21:28-32, James1:22-25,
sorry Night Ranger ;-)

Lips ain't the way to prove,
Lips ain't the way that you prove it, oh no.
It ain't the way you fake,
It ain't the way that you make-b'lieve, oh no.
He's heard plenty of words,
Yet it didn't get done.
Aye, but His wish is your action.

CHORUS:
Don't tell Him you love Him,
Don't tell Him you love Him,
Don't tell Him. Are you gonna show?
(repeat)

He loves the way you prove,
He loves the way you bear fruit, see? Oh yeah.
He loves that you help dudes.
He loves the way you're not rude when ill-treat'd, oh yeah.
It's taken line upon line to turn, to try action strong.
I need to hammer on.

Chorus

Note: Jeff James has written several Parodeities over the years. He has been gracious enough to rewrite many of the parodies appearing in the Parodeity section on Webster. He's done a great job improving some of these tunes in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. I'm absolutely thrilled that he has taken it upon himself to make these improvements; I had hoped when I put all my work in the public domain that it would encourage some people to make these types of modifications to the Parodeities to improve them. It is exciting to see someone doing this kind of work; I hope that Jeff's excellent work will encourage others to write new parodies or "ReVerse" existing parodeities. -- Randy Hyde

BTW, if you don't understand the "Paro-Dud" moniker, visit ApologetiX' site and check out the name of Karl Messner's production company; then you'll probably get the play on words.
