| (I AM)/M'ssiah Made Me Whole ReVersed by Jeff James (Paro-dud) It dawned in me since my life was wrecked and empty. I needed something else, no doubt, I could see. I feel something's wrong. The nagging was too strong, And I had felt that it wouldn't be wrong - tell God what I feel. Yeah, me! And I had felt that it wouldn't be wrong - tell God what I feel. Yeah, me! CHORUS: (singin') (I AM)/M'ssiah made me whole. He took me in His life, and I don't mean maybe. (I AM)/M'ssiah made me whole. He comes in perfect time and chats with me. His child just tells Him what he asks in God's name. "Then it don't matter," I said, "troubles are so tame." Then while this place I roam, I never am alone, And then He is provin' on. He is with me, yeah, me! And then He is provin' on. He is with me, yeah, me! Chorus Then while this place I roam, I never am alone, And then He's provin' on, and fixin' my same old wrongs. Yeah, it's me Chorus repeat | |||||

| Note: Jeff James has written several Parodeities over the years. He has been gracious enough to rewrite many of the parodies appearing in the Parodeity section on Webster. He's done a great job improving some of these tunes in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. I'm absolutely thrilled that he has taken it upon himself to make these improvements; I had hoped when I put all my work in the public domain that it would encourage some people to make these types of modifications to the Parodeities to improve them. It is exciting to see someone doing this kind of work; I hope that Jeff's excellent work will encourage others to write new parodies or "ReVerse" existing parodeities. -- Randy Hyde BTW, if you don't understand the "Paro-Dud" moniker, visit ApologetiX' site and check out the name of Karl Messner's production company; then you'll probably get the play on words. | |||||
