More Dire Than Sheol | |||||
Parody of "The Fire Down Below" by Bob Seger
Parody Lyrics by Jeff James (the Parodud)
| It's not so cozy. It's cooking all the time. It wasn't dandy. No quenchin' of the fire. There roam the demons, sinnin' how they like. Their citizens - hey, they didn't want His light. So truly sad, though. They're shunned and alone. There's always something which haunts them. Way hot, more dire than Sheol. They want ta switch then, but the wicked will have grief. Fear, then, the torment 'cause there's lots of gnashing teeth. It's not a prank there, won't rejoice if that's your stop. The thing's eternal. Some are ever punished lots. Well, it's hardly like Heaven. Its men stay shunned and alone. There's always something which haunts them. Way hot, more dire than Sheol. It's sad and out-uh-rageous. Laugh that it's a scheme, But it's true, bud, really costs ya. Hope you surely don't doubt this scene. Fire's not quenched on any day, and it's home for some who die. Down there's where I should be. Hey, Jesus paid up the price. You're forsook if now ya go there 'cause it's cooking all the time. Can't be shocked that the Beast ain't dandy. Then you'll sight the Devil nigh. Then there's demons thick there, sinnin' round the fire. Yes, they'll be gripped with inner darkness, gripped with outer night. Please use this insight - not real fun, it's not nice home. There's always something which haunts them. Way hot, more dire than Sheol. | |||||

| BTW, if you don't understand the "Paro-Dud" moniker, visit ApologetiX' site and check out the name of Karl Messner's production company; then you'll probably get the play on words. | |||||
